I absolutely love Valentine's Day...and I'm not sure why. I think it's because I love pink and red and hearts and crafts and cookies and flowers and chocolates and strawberries and steak dinners...but regardless the reason, I'm determined to make my boys love it too!
Kaleb decorated cookies at his class party. He was by far the most skilled, thanks to Grandma!
Most of them just ate the frosting with spoons...
And there's Colton...again...at another one of K's MDO parties. This kid is very popular.
Teacher gifts!
Valentines for his friends. And his girlfriend. ;)
Making cards for Daddy.
And bookmarks too!
Colt thought it was hilarious to press a clear lid on his face. He was right. Kaleb couldn't quite do it as well though because he doesn't have that baby chub like Colton. :)
My Valentine isn't eating sweets while he's training so I made him a fruit bouquet. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but Josh thought that I bought it. :)
Helping with heart-shaped blueberry muffins. I ate 3; the boys collectively ate about half of one. LOL
This was AFTER the muffins were in the oven.
He informed me that Grandma has a small spatula and bowl for him. Guess I need to go buy some kid-sized cooking utensils.
All done!

An Assortment of Christmas Pictures
Holiday Party and first carnival ride! (We had to convince Kaleb to go on it by telling him that his little brother wanted to!)
Probably our only family photo in a year. :)
Decorating the tree.
He wore that Santa hat EVERYWHERE.
At the movies with the cousins!
He had a Santa hat too.
At the zoo with the cousins!
Kaleb's school Christmas program. He didn't move.
Christmas morning! We had to wake up both boys (we waited until 7:30)!
Where we found Kaleb Christmas morning...
Checking out their loot.
Playing with Uncle Dave who came to visit for football and New Year's.

Catch-Up Blog: Thanksgiving
I haven't posted any pictures in...well...a while. :) BUT that's because in addition to being very busy, we have all been sick on and off since the holidays.
The boys were miserable on Thanksgiving -- they slept all day, and even when they were awake, their eyes were glazed over and they didn't really move much. Needless to say we don't have many pictures of turkey day! (But the adults had a very nice dinner sans children.)
Colton at Kaleb's school Thanksgiving Feast.
Chief Kaleb enjoying a turkey cupcake.
They had cute outfits on for about 30 minutes on Thanksgiving. :) Poor sick babies.
Just about the only smile we saw that day.
Both boys weren't feeling well but Colt definitely felt the worst. He was taking both acetaminophen AND ibuprofen to bring down his fever. Breaks my heart.
Right after his nap.
Dinner time. Dessert time.
We went to the doctor early the next morning and found out that Kaleb had RSV-induced walking pneumonia and Colton had RSV. Of course, both also had ear infections. So Colt got to have his first breathing treatment...and now both boys are proud owners of albuterol inhalers. Like every other kid. :/ Needless to say, due to the RSV, every cold they've gotten since Thanksgiving has escalated into something worse. But I can happily say that right at this very moment, NO ONE IN OUR HOUSE IS SICK! Praise the Lord!
