Easter Pics
This year we spread Easter out over two days this year -- one day with just our little family and one day with Nanny, Grampy, Aunt Cali, Aunt Lauren, and Great Grampy. We ALWAYS go to church on Saturday anyway, so we dressed the boys up in their darling outfits and failed to take a family pic. :) While we were gone, the Easter Bunny made an early stop by our house. How convenient! So when we got home, the boys tackled their Easter baskets, we had dinner, and we tried to color eggs with K and Colt. Easier said than done. And yes, I assumed this would be the case. And I assume you all understand why we didn't take any pictures. Then we hunted for eggs out front (yes, the children are in their pjs). Josh went on an early bike ride Easter morning, so the boys and I were left to get ready for a fun day at Nanny's house. We all loaded up and headed out to Katy for some delicious food (ie: the best beef tenderloin in the whole world), egg hunting, and swimming! Unfortunately I did not charge the camera, and it died. But Grampy had his so hopefully I'll get some good pics of Kaleb in the pool. He LOVED it; Colt was kind of grumpy (no nap) and thought the water was cold.

MS-150
Last weekend Josh rode in the MS-150 (a 180 mile bike ride from Houston to Austin that raises money for MS research). I took absolutely no pictures of him or our friends who rode with him. BUT I did take a few pics of the boys (when they weren't driving me absolutely crazy)!
Hotel bath tubs are always awesome.
Watching a movie because there were no kids' shows on tv.
Splitting a brownie and ice cream with daddy IN BED while Colton slept.
This was JUST BEFORE Kaleb knocked this barrier down and the nice State Capitol employee kindly suggested that maybe he wasn't old enough for a tour like this. :) She really was quite nice about kicking us out. ;)
Kaleb getting a boost from Miss Noosha while waiting for Mr. Chuck to cross the finish line.
Colt's first whole apple!
This poor kid was exhausted. He fell asleep in my arms...and I'm pretty sure he hasn't done that in at least 6 months.
All in all, it was successful: Josh thoroughly enjoyed his new bike, none of the guys crashed, we scored some free margaritas, a lot of money was raised for MS research, and my boys took GREAT naps the next day. :)
