So last month there was a minor incident involving running, Kaleb's face, and our tile floor that resulted in Kaleb needing crowns on his two front teeth. It really didn't seem like that big of a deal (one of the chips was pretty big but he wasn't in pain) until the dentist told us that both teeth were fractured. So now Kaleb has two "new" teeth. Crowns for toddlers are funny: they only come in one color and a few sizes. The dentist uses a bigger size that you would expect because hopefully these crowns will last him until his baby teeth fall out. We're just glad they are porcelain and not stainless steel on the front!
