Camping at The Lodges at Lost Maples

Over Labor Day weekend, we went camping with our neighbors. We stayed at some cute little cabins near Lost Maples and Garner State Park. We didn't take many pictures (it turns out that camping with two little kiddos requires a lot of hands...leaving none left for the camera) but enjoy the few that we do have!



Everyone else went hiking but we stayed behind and played in the Frio River. We tried to go on the hike but only made it about 20 feet with the stroller. Kaleb and Josh went on a 5 mile hike the next day though. Turns out it's easier without an infant. :) And let me specify: Kaleb rode on Josh's back while Josh hiked 5 miles. Apparently he slept the majority of the time!





Poor Colt had the world's worst diaper rash so here we are giving him a bath to try to soothe his raw little bottom. He doesn't look too upset here...but trust me, he did not like this rash.

Kaleb's Birthday!

I can't believe Kaleb is 2 years old! (Okay, when he throws a temper tantrum in the Home Depot parking lot & ends up laying down banging his head on the concrete, I can.) :) The morning of Kaleb's birthday, we opened presents, dropped the dogs off at the kennel, and headed out for a weekend of camping! We did cupcakes at the cabin with our neighbors/friends, and then this past Saturday, we had his party at the Jump'n Jungle. Josh and I again failed to take pictures other than those posted here, but I KNOW Grampy took a ton and Grandpa took some video. Kaleb's party was awesome and so many of his little friends came! Everyone had a blast.

Colton's Dedication

Waaaaaaaay back in May (on Mother's Day weekend), Colton was dedicated at New Hope Church. Josh and I didn't take any pictures so I never posted any. But luckily my parents did! So enjoy!

What extra chin? It looks like his face is so chubby that there's no room left for his tongue! HAHA

My eye was still "little" from my surgeries....and I couldn't wear make-up yet. Bummer.
